Cleaning tailights
Cleaning tailights
I've noticed that the plastic on my tailights is like oxidizing or something and is starting to turn white. What do you guys use to polish the plastic? Are there any specific polishes or do you just use household stuff? Thanks.
i use turtle wax ice to keep mine clean.. works great and keeps it shiney and the water just slides right off.. i use spray and paste.. both really help out the look, i also do the same on the headlights..
You can use something like poorboys professional polish on them. If they are really bad, can use the ssr line too.

my sisters old passat (2001) had that really bad but the auto store stuff don't even effect it. and we used just about every product and a buffer. she ended up just getting new headlights.

yea you can get the fog out with good stuff that turbo wax has.. i usually wax and spray wax my tailights and headlights every month and for 2 years they have looked stunning, no problems..
when i get more money i plan to buy turbo waxes complete kit once i get it ready for a car show.. for the price its a steal for the complete kit..
