Degreaser

What is a good degreaser to remove previous polish and wax, that will not harm the paint?

I'm not big on using dish soap on a car. Inexpensively I'd go with Meguiars Paint Cleaner and a clay bar.

Well here is the deal.. I need to remove all my polish and wax so I can get to the paint or clear coat or whatever to remove the nasty scratches from debadging. Like you can only notice it with a certain angle and certain light, but still.

well if their nasty scratches they will need to be buffed with a buffer not an orbital polisher. If you buff it you don't need to worry about takeing the wax off
