Drying

I use a shammy cloth to dry my car and it's a pain the ass cause you have to ring it out really good like every 5 seconds. Does anyone know of anything better that is easier to use that DEFINATLY does not scratch? Thanks

Try a silicon California Water Blade. Get it at Wal-Mart or online:

http://www.amazon.com/Original-Calif.../dp/B00008RW9X

After I use it I still hit up the hard to get spots with a cotton towel. And your car must be CLEAN to use it with no grime. So when I just wash my car down in the winter to get the crap off it I do not use this. You will possibly scratch up your paint.

go to costco and buy a pack of microfiber drying towels.... It soaks up water alot better than a shammy and doesnt leave that residue that the shammy leaves behind....

microfiber FTW!!! i get massive packs of them at the local auto store and use them in a demoting system from waxing/buffing, drying, interior, then wheels and tires.

You guys laugh at the leaf blower comment... what do you think they use when you drive through the car wash at the end? A Vacuum? hell no, it's a blower!

get yourself a good shammy (water sprite)

you can find them everywhere on the net, i use nothing but

look for WATER SPRITE SHAMMY, usually about $12 to $15 each, they last a life time

and dont leave streaks at all, even when really wet

honestly...

Leaf blower + Absorber..... it doesnt get any better.

think about it.. no towel or water blade can get the water out of the cracks.. then you always end up with drips and built up crap in crevaces

once you try it.. you'll never go back.

Leaf blower for majority of water and all cracks

Absorber for finishing touch
