glass etchings

I was wondering if there was any easy way to get rid of "etchings" from the windshield wipers. It looks TERRIBLE... and also the front windows have vertical etchings all throughout them.. I will get some pics up when i get a lunch break.

etchings meaning scratches that invisible glass wont take out

I know there are a few glass leveling compounds out there that can be used with a rotary buffer, although, I've never tried it, nor do I know the process or the dangers. I would be afraid of creating too much heat or screwing with the optical shape of the glass, especially the front windshield.

Definitely!!!

Also a mild mix of vinegar and water can help, cloth. Take it easy though. My personal first try would be the Oxidation bar, that should move most of the rubbish off your windscreen.

Old school trick is to use old fashioned tooth paste and buff them out. It worked on my 69 Dodge when I got it years ago.

I don't have any photos of the product after using it on glass, for oxidation you can see in our section some samples
