Question: I put a aftermarket headunit in my car. Did you have to have any special harness or chime box to take out your stock head unit? I put my in w/o anything i had people saying i had to have it, then saying i didnt. I just ran a seperate ignition wire and it worked fine for about 3ish months. Now it sounds all chopped up and crackly, really bad. I put the stock one back in and it plays fine. Haven't payed that much attention to the wiring from the unit to the speakers, but i was curious if you had any problems with changing your headunit. Thanks.
