Major overspray
So I got my car back from paint last week and when I was waxing the car this past friday I noticed that the hood is simply covered with over spray. Like...you see the line where the paint man tapped it off. It's all glossy and shiny and amazing but then you see where the overspray starts. It's a turn off... Not only is it on the hood but I can rub the fenders and find overspray and on the back windshield... Go pimp slap the paint man or is there anything as far as wax or cleaning chemicals I can use to get this mess off?
I was using plain old turtle wax to shine the car up a bit before I went out for the weekend but it didn't even try to take it off... I'd rather not wet sand it unless I absolutely have to. Last time I wet sanded a car with 2000 grit paper I screwed the clear coat all up removing the yellow paint they spray for road lines...

Slap your paint guy, and make him buff the whole damned car......After I got my car out of the shop, I took it back 3 times for overspray, then I found it again on my decklid, but gave up on the dealer, and am just gonna have someone buff the whole car for me
^ Yes...claybar. DO NOT TRY TO BUFF IT OFF! You will marr the hell out of your finish. just take your time, try not to use a claybar that is too aggressive (coarse) on the finish. It should come off with no problems.
come one now dont slap the painter i am a painter lol, You can wither buff it off, clay bar, or use laquer thinner. If i were you i would just bring it back and make them do it you should never have overspray on a customers vehicle.
i agree with the part of taking it back to the shop...they should fix that if they are a reputable shop...know this because i had issues after i got mine back...i took it back and they fixed the problems...nothing major..but just what i went through

Im not sure if you saw our post on over spray
the car sits in a yard next to a marine paint booth, what you see in the roof is overspray, the entire roof is FULL of it, actually the entire car, or what’s left of it, I was able to remove 99% of it with our bug and oxidation remover, it really did an awesome job, after that I use our swirl remover, pre wax and wax I did use the Porter Cable Machine to finish the job.

I've gotta take the car back to the shop to make them fix the a/c anyways. They forgot to re-juice it. I'm gonna try the clay bar first... Thanks for the advice!
