Need help with sticky residue
I just recently bought a yellow 2006 cobalt LS coupe. It had a set of black racing stripes on it. The material was cheap, and had some air bubbles in it, so I decided to peel them off.
I got them easily without a hitch. Only issue now is, there's a layer of sticky residue where the stripes were, and it's very noticeable. It looks like I have stripes that are just a different shade of yellow now.
I tried using goo-be-gone to get it off, but it wasn't working unless I scratched it with my fingernail, but I can't do the whole thing like that.
Any suggestion of things I can use to scrape this stuff off? Or maybe some other method altogether? Thanks guys!

like he said heat gun works the best. when i got my first vehicle it was my dads company vehicle that had a 1'X1' banner that had been on the side for 11 years... heat gun allowed me to peel that gooey crap right off sooo easily.

X2 Just a tiny bit and rub HARD and very SLOWLY with your thumb against the edge of the sticky stuff as if you were trying to roll it up into a ball. WD40 is Gods gift to the automobile just like baking powder is to the kitchen. Did you ever read the history of WD40? Very interesting. Here it is;
