Oxidation/Corrosion on Engine Block

After letting the car sit for the winter, the engine block and other aluminum parts got a little ugly and spotty. Anyone here deal with this yet. Anyone know a good way to clean it back to new?

Use etching Mag wheel spray cleaner on it before you pressure wash it.(the stuff for old school non polished or non clearcoated wheels) You need to do it when its dry so wash the engine bay the weekend before the first time so it will be dry. Then next time use the spray wheel cleaner on it and pressure wash it again. The etching mag wheel cleaner will bring the alumunium back and kill the **** it gets on it especially if you live in a winter state that uses salt. Don't leave it on to long (about 5 minutes max) or the alumunium can start to turn black. After your done spray the engine bay down with NO touch tire spray.
