scratches!!!

So today I get the notion to take the chevy badge off the rear. I took the gm ones on the side so i figure no problem. I read in a thread that someone used a credit card. well....BAD Idea I got a bunch of little scratches all around where I used the fricking credit card. can anyone suggest what to buy at auto zone that should get rid of these scratches, they are faint and not deep, but I CAN SEE THEM!!!! Drives me nuts!!!!!

ok...you read my how-to and i feel obligated to help you...

you are gonna need to polish and then wax it...

cleaner wax will not fix your problem...

try a polish designed for hand use and then if that doesnt work you are probably going to need to use a high-speed buffer

Use fishing line and pull against the BADGE, not the paint.

What exactly did you think was going to happen?

ddamm the fishing line idea sounds like it would have been better!!! I used a credilt card (pep boys) and it just left little scrates everywhere i used the card. damm car is black so EVERYTHING SHOWS!!! But i love black soo i gotta deal with it. When its clean its soooooo nice, Yeah everytime i wash it, boom another scratch!! You know those spray waxes, I think they are bad personally, I mean it takes out the spots and stuff but I think they creat swirls??!!!??
