Soap

just wondering what a guy could use for soap that wouldnt be too bad for the car, i have one of those mr clean cleaning guns but turns out im outta soap and about an hour out of the city so would somthing like diluted dish soap or even hand soap and wanter hurt the car or be bad for it in any way? I mean i can just wash it with water alone if i have to.

Don't wash it with just water or you will scratch the **** out of the car. Dish soap is OK but it will strip the wax off the car. I use dish soap before I wax to get all the old wax off. Just go buy some more Mr. Clean soap and you're set.

In no way is washing w/ just plain water a good idea. Dish soap is too harsh. Use a neutral auto specific shampoo for the best results.
