swirl remover
swirl remover
ok i was checking out the turbo wax web page and noticed that they have a swirl remover i was woundering how it works ...and wat all i have to do to remove my swirl marks
You need a polish. Here is a link to one of the best car paint care threads I've found. http://forums.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=144530
Be careful. There are two kinds of polish. One is chemical (won't do what you need) and one is abrasive (what you need). I light abrasive for swirl marks. Just read that thread and you will learn a lot.

How does it work?
Turbo Wax Swirl Remover contains millions of tiny white abrasives that gradually disappear under the friction of the pad. The abrasives gently wear down the sharp edges of the scratch or swirl until light no longer catches on them and they become level with the surrounding paint. Because swirls are very shallow scratches, it only takes a little blending to level the swirl with the surrounding paint. As this occurs, the abrasives gradually vanish. Within seconds, the abrasives melt into the lubricants and your paint is left swirl-free.
Our Swirl Remover works best when applied with a polisher. Polish with a light cutting pad on your Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher. Start at a speed of 5 and use moderate pressure to go over a 2 x 2 sq. ft. area. Work up and down, then side to side to ensure optimum coverage. Buff using a high quality Microfiber Polishing Cloth.
After swirl removal, use a white polishing pad to refine the surface to a nice shine using Turbo Wax Car Wax. Always work in sections and check your work often.
Hope that helps
