Angry Need help! Tree sap!!

Ok guys I have like 10-15 huge spots of tree sap on my hood, windshield, trunk, passenger door. So my question is what is the best method of removing the sap without hurting the paint?

Does your car sit in the sun? if it shaded then it would be okay for longer, but if it sits int he sun all day it starts cooking on your paint.

use rubbing alcohol and dont scrub it just go over it lightly as long as needed. i worked at a car detail shop for nearly 2 years and we used this every time and it worked great. so just use rubbing alcohol and a towel and you will be golden

I just removed a bunch of sap from my car not to long ago. I have no choice but to park under trees. Anyways, just clay the car with a LOT of lube... once thats done, wax the car with 2 or 3 coats so your paint is protected.

Few ways to tackle it, use rubbing alcohol the one from the drug store is about 70% which will work, if they are very small clay bar or even our oxidation block will do, just make sure either way you choose to go, that you protect the surface after you have remove the tree sap either one of them will remove the wax from the surface

methyl hydrate will very easily but you have to be very careful and gentle with it or it will eat through your clear coat.

this sounds weird but i used to use mayo....worked like a charm too...just use a little bit and you'll be scrubbing for a bit but it comes off....

and don't let it sit too long cuz it gets harder and harder to get off the more caked on it is.

sap = FTL
