Washing a car after its painted

Hey there, im looking for some advice when it comes to washing my balt. I just recently got it back from the body shop after it had been in a front end accident. So the whole front end was fixed and repainted, so its all fresh on the front.

Now i know im not supposed to wax the car for 6 weeks, but how about washing it? when it is safe to wash the car without any risk of hurting the new paint on it? i have had it back now for about a week and a half or so.

Any advice? is it ok to wash? not ok? any special way to wash it right now?

Any tips is greatly appreciated, thanks!

sounds reasonable but 2 months may be a little long...and you want to be very careful about dirt and **** in your mitt b/c hate to scratch fresh paint...

and then once it is fully cured... wash>clay>wash>wax...

yea 6 weeks is almost 2 months lol. And you wash it twice a month. How long do you have to follow that guidline for? like when could you wash it every week if you wanted to.

Im just trying to find out when its safe to wash it without worrying if you used too much or too little soap and if you scrubbed too hard etc...

Im really nervous, i dont wanna ruin my paint, and its black so it will show every defect lol

My body shop used heat to bake the paint... they buffed it like a day after paint.
