Correct but I believe you have to get this from a supplier so for an average wax I would use Meguiars Tech Wax it works good too synthetic wax gives it a shinier look and it will feel smoother also claying your car once a month or two is not a bad idea..

yes, there is. you should wait 2-3 months before waxing. 2-3 months after build date, not after you bought it.

no its not. sealant is not the same thing as a wax.

Autozone does not sell the sealant but they do sell other synthectic meguiars and no water does not wash wax away degreaser does or acid but washing your car multiple times will end up taking away the wax finish.

The stuff we use is a sealant but its a wax base it lasts alot longer than average wax would. To the OP sealant is basically like Auto armor Paint Protection minus the warranty

it isnt a sealant and a wax. thats two different things. now, i will agree when you are using high quality stuff (poorboys, nattys, etc.) the general idea behind the finishing wax and sealant is the same. you are finishing off the prepped paint. wax for more shine and pop, sealant for protection

however, the typical person's wax (**** from o'reillys) is designed to hide imperfections as well, and will not last near as long as the previously mentioned products

you dont need a synthetic wax. seal it and use whatever wax you have read reviews and seen pics of that you think suits what you are looking for.

Oh damn then it shouldnt need much lol just make sure you do not use aggressive clay most aggressive clay will require a buff. If you want your car to look like Stu's and mine in a couple years keep it clean what color is your car? and stu I know your a great detailer theres only a couple of us that can handle doing detailing work. What type of dressing do you use on your tires?

So sealant is sealant? ok.

"Sealant" is not one year. it will vary by product, which is why i said MOST are 3-5 months. hell go and see what is recommended periods by the manufacturers. do you have access to one that claims a year, hell if i know. which is why i said MOST.

i would still like to see a direct sunlight hood shot. or if you actually do corrections you have access to high powered halogens, use one of those too.

SOrry dont have any of those pics the reason I ask about what kind of shine you use on tires is because the **** we use at my job is very slingy no matter how many times you wipe. Sorry OP we will not thread jack anymore if stu has any more problems please keep it to pms.

I didnt see your post about shine, sorry. I am actually using some free eagle one **** i got. it doesnt last that long, but i HATE really shiny tires. i prefer just the semigloss black.

pick up some turbowax gel. ive used it a couple times and im pretty sure i was happy with the results.
