& I hear you on the engine parts. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do both.
Next install on my list will be double din head unit with gps. Then I’m going to have my rims painted a gloss black to go with my new hood. Then I’m going with the ZZP Brembo brake kit then the ZZP front sway bar, followed by dropping my 3.0 pulley down to a 2.8 along with upping my 42 pound injectors up to the 60 pounders plus the new injector harness & of course a new tune. Once that’s done I may go with the lambo door hinge kit but I’m not sure on that install as of heard it causes wind noise & u have to fab the front fenders.
Once that is all done I may go with the ZZP stage 2 cams & springs but not sure if I want to get that crazy with it
Thanks HGT thanks Snail !!!!

I remember in middle school I thought lambo doors were so cool. But that was because I was in middle school. In the mid-90's.
Same here. Even as late as 2007, when I bought the car in highschool, I thought the Cobalt would be cool with Lambo doors and a body kit. I'm just glad I didn't have money to spend on it at the time.
this car is actually my dads but i work on it a lot now that hes older and doesn't want to anymore.
been there many iterations over the years. had several hot 400 small blocks in it, one got overrevved and cranked a crank. right now it has a old 355 short block and a set of old but really good cast world products heads on it. he has a blueprint engines, i forget the exact specs on it but its a 427ci small block i think its 550hp. haven't put it in yet but probably will over the winter. he wants to clean up the engine bay again its been a few years
i ran a 12 somethings in it with no traction and the old 400sbc in it. i think that old motor made about 425-450hp
drove this around in highschool. real 69 chevelle ss 325hp 396
didn't do too much to it, messed with motor a bit and a few other things. one time it twisted a drive shaft completely off racing some 80s camaro. have a picture somewhere...
had this car for probably 4-5 years. was the best at taking abuse of any car ive ever had.
motor was all stock. loved the forged slugs from the factory.
started out with twin t3 turbos and no intercooler, stock aode with a big trans cooler. never dyno'd it but it would run great at 9psi and once i clicked it to 10psi the trans would slip.
ran 7.2 in the 1/8 with stock coverter. so basically leaving with no boost. ifrc ran 12.4@114 in the 1/4
street raced so many times in this. literally beat the **** out of it every day rarely lost to anything. one did i lose to this badass porsche 996 bi turbo driven by a guy that looked exactly like fabio, shir t unbuttoned and everything. i was actually holding my own for a sec until i blew a charge pipe.
after a while i put this t70 turbo on it and a intercooler. i never got a chance to run it at the track but i did street race it a few times. it pulled a stock c6 z06 ever so slightly from a roll.
it eneded up having some wierd electrical problem and i sold it cheap. the new owner burned it down somehow and wanted their money back lol.
this is really my favorite vehicle ever. i love short box chevys.
basically a 355, some decent stock casting heads. i forget what turbo it was. some t4 flange big turbo. blow through carb. custom built cold/hot side. msd boost master controller and walbro 255pump. messed with it a lot. never ran it or dyno'd it. regret selling it. sold it to put new floors in my house....
bought this car suspiciously cheap off craigslist. it had 110k on it. pretty much perfect inside and seemed to run great. guy thought the trans was slipping or something, of course he never said anything about it. was trying to pull a fast one on me. i didn't notice right away but after a few times driving it especially on the highway the trans felt weird and was getting hot. felt like it was slipping because the converter would never lock up.
i put new solenoids in it including a new lockup solenoid and it worked perfectly after that. i also put a big front mount cooler on it and a dehrale pan.
ran 13.9@101 completely stock. was a great driver. sold it for 3kish profit. my boy would go nuts over the flip up headlights.
def my fav of all time. i regret selling it all the damn time. curse of the wife/family. haha.
i'll get another one some day. modifying the carb for blow through was a pita it was never good all over. rich part throttle but good full pretty much. at least safe if i did it again i would go fuel injection but if i had to do a carb i would buy a carb purposely built for blow through.
i'm going to hit the gym i will post more cars when i get back
Latest addition. 2018 Cruze Diesel Hatch, Kinetic Blue, Jet Black leather with 6-speed manual. All the manual hatches come with the RS package.
Picked this up a few months ago. It's a '99 Olds Aurora that I bought from the original owner. I always wanted a first gen Aurora when they came out but could never afford one at the time. The window sticker shows this one ran $38k new.
bought this raptor 700r brand new. beat the **** out of it and it never skipped a beat. best quad ive ever had for sure. after a couple years i got bored and built this turbo kit for it.
power commander 3, tiny IHI turbo, syclone/typhoon map sensor, i hacked up the stock exhaust to make the manifold and hot side.
dyno duned it made 84rwhp. turbo was very small but made instant power. the torque steer was crazy. no intercooler.... i blew it up at the dune on a about 110f day. had no exahust on it and it blew aluminum dust all over the leg of my pants when piston exploded.
i rode a secaII around for a while and got tired of it. i had a tri-z that i blew the motor up and wanted to do something fun so i put it in this yamaha tri-z. i rode it quite a bit and it was a lot of fun. i think the seca was about 70hp. it dropped a valve and destroyed the motor lol.
