Was wrounding if we could get a big cobalt meet in Virginia near Roanoke Va or Wytheville. would let to set it for sept 22.

 

i live like 5 minutes from roanoke, but i dont think there are too many others around here

 

alot of us are on the east coast, a few hours from the west.
although, there will be a big meet the 14th of Oct in Frederick, Maryland.

 

Both are a little too far for me. I could do somewhere in the middle.

 

If that wasn't the day before my wifes b-day I'd be on that like white on rice.

i might go out that way once the leaves are all browned and stuff. i want some nice pictures of the orange with 'autumn' as a background. i think it'd look dope. but other then that ride, which shouldn't be for a month and a half (i think), i dont plan on makin that ride.

 

Im in Va Beach in Tidewater but i'd be up for a meet sometime out near blacksburg. Moving there in June and I want to go check it all out. Not to mention have a good ol' cobalt meet since there doesn't seem to be any around here.

 

correct me if im wrong, but every saturday at jenros there is at least 3 or 4 other ss/sc's. jenros is on independance blvd. i haven't gone in a few weeks, but i think they all still show up

edit --- i just realized you have the 2.4l, im not sure if there are any other n/a there or not, doc would know more

 

there problay wont be alot out expect me and some of my friends but if you still want to ride out we are meeting at walmart at 8. i think i will be the only SS/SC unless some more show.

 

Lemme know when you plan on comin on over, i live in B-Burg (on campus) so we could definately try and set up some sort of meet.

 

Like I said, I'm moving out there. Hopefully I will visit soon. I adore the mountains and family's ready for a change so I can't wait to get out that way. I'm trying for VT once I'm finished with my associates at the community college.

 

Unfortunately my job (bridal flowers n such witha very reputed company in Norfolk) doesn't allow me free saturdays. Friday and Sat. tend to be the bussiest days fo the week for us and we have maybe one or two weeks a year when we aren't booked.

edit: Not like I dont mind hanging with SS/SC's. All the same car to me, except they go a little faster, but doesn't mean I don't have the ***** to at least try and keep up! I play when I can get away with it LOL

 

i raced a 2.4 SS and it impressed me. i like the 2.4 and i respect them. cant wait to meet up

 

My baby's quick. I have a home-made high flow intake put on her right now, and I swear it added at least 10 horsepower. I hate driving without it. I've never had a car that could burn tires so hard shifting to second. The intake makes it growl DEEP when I get on it at low rpm's and then as soon as i hit 5K+ it screams like a jet. Not to mention i love the pull when the v-tech kicks in

we need to get together, I can tune your car. You find the dyno and I'll burn the credits. So, all you'll have to pay for is tuning on the dyno.

 

I can find the dyno, and I have the cash. My problem is I don't want to void my warranty. My parents bought me the car under the condition that I upgrade it ONLY if it keeps the warranty a.k.a. spending out the ass for GM Perfomance Parts installed at the dealer. (I order cheaper online). Now, If you have a way of tuning without the Dealership being able to tell, or (since I have a laptop and was considering buying the HP Tuners system) have two disks where I can load between the different settings when I take the car in for warranty work. I do everything else myself, don't trust my dealer, or any dealer for that matter. Let me know when the next get together is and as long as college and work isn't in the way I'll be there. Sundays I'm usually free.

 

i think i actually played with you once. over on lynnhaven pkwy we both scooted onto the interstate for a quickie lol. not sure, but it might of been you. i like the 2.4 so there's no hate from me
