looking to do my cobalts front end, its getting sloppy, brake rotors are warped. ive already done the tie rod end links and i have a new steering shaft (the one on it isn't sloppy yet)

anything better / the same / cheaper out there i should know about?

If you have SS then I would leave in the stock front sway bar but like michael23v said, a Powell rear hardcore sway-bar is my preference. People often say go for the XXX swaybar but I find the rear hardcore bar combined with a front 24mm that I still have plenty of rear end rotation. I even drop the pressure in my rear tires a bit as otherwise I get excessive oversteer during autocross. For spring shock combo I really think stock FE5 TC Cobalt shocks/struts with Powell's YYZ springs is ideal for the street. I used to have FE5 TC Cobalt shocks paired with my YYZ springs and later switched to Koni and TBH I couldn't tell the difference. I'm sure there are experts that would scoff at that but for the street FE5 OEM is really pretty good. Check trailing control arm bushing. The voided bushing rots away. Replace with a solid rubber bushing at the very least or swap to Powell or OTTP spherical.

I see cratenegine depoy has the fe5 hhr shocks and struts for $390 I'll have to keep my original springs which I'm ok with...

I might have to put stock replacement brake rotors on it doesn't look like the eBay slotted rotors are much cheaper than the powerstop ones

Put the eBay rotors on. They seem ok. Painted calipers cause they looked shitty

They work great when they get heat into them

I really need new shocks I don't think these on it are the stock ones

The fronts clunk bad. The lower control arm bushing seem fine but the shocks look old and worn out. The debris guards on the fronts are messed up

Got the brakes broke in stops pretty good. Looks cool

If they don't surface rust too bad with wet weather, I'll consider these when I need to do mine again.
