Traction Control (ESC) Out of Control
I'm having yet another interesting issue, this time with the ESC. It only activates when going around right bends (not right turns) and going over 80km/h. I've had a ball joint replaced and did an alignment for a total toe of 0.15. Camber -1 degree on both sides. Before the alignment, it felt like the car would drop the left side into the ground and shoot me off to the right, but no ESC activation. Now I believe I still have a slight tire issue with the previous, but moreso now the ESC always activates even if I turn it off on the dash. Could this be a wheel speed sensor issue on the right tired? Going over left bends, I can go as fast as I went with absolutely no issues.
Roundabouts, I would figure the ESC would activate or tire grab - no for the ESC, tire grab is very light (very dependant on road being smooth or not), and I can fly and change directions for the most part with no issues. I also get torque steer if I go into a higher boost on acceleration.

Did you do any suspension recently? I had ESC problems after I replaced all my front suspension. In straight line it was fine at low speeds, but if I gave it the beans it would torque steer, and it would go wild. Mine was only like that for 2 drives, one from the shop where I did the work, and then to the shop to do the alignment ,and all my problems were solved.

What I do know is the front sway bar moog bushings are getting pretty floppy. I have to contact Rock Auto about that for the limited lifetime warranty.

I keep forgetting to bring my copy of my alignment in so I can scan it. Pretty sure it's still off that's causing it. At least the sway bar bushings are being shipped.

Should have looked at this closer, they didn't do a good job, but it shouldn't be causing my level of issue.
While I price out another shop, should I go 0 camber and 0.1 total toe, or just fix the left tire camber down to 1 degree?

While I was out yesterday, the service traction control message came up while I was on a highway, about 50 minutes into my drive. With that malfunction, while the tires still are a bit grabby, it wasn't nearly as bad of a correction that's needed. Parked the car for a few minutes, which made it go away, but decided to turn it completely off manually (hit the traction control button, then press and hold until message confirmed). I would say the problem is now 85% esc and 10% tires/5% alignment?

It could be a wiring/wheel speed sensor issue, but I'd definitely start with the easy stuff like an alignment and visual inspection of the wheel bearings and the ABS sensor connector.

The wheel bearings look good, including the wiring - oddly enough I've never had an issue with ABS. The left tire will need to be put to 1 degree flat and I'll be putting the new moog bushings in this week and try again. My concern is the speed senor, the location is not ideal.

It sounds like I'll need one of those more expensive scanners to individually look at the voltages of the sensors. Other than HP Tuners, I only have the (paid) Torque app which doesn't do anything outside the engine.
