100 post Minimum for Thread starting

My suggestion is that there be a 100 post MINIMUM to start a new thread. We have been seeing alot of repeat threads, and almost identical threads by different people literally just hours (even minutes) apart. Or, perhaps make the search button bigger and FLASHING RED.

bad idea!!! I would rather have repeats then have people post nothing useful to get the 100 post minimum to ask a question, i wouldnt have joined if i had to make 100 posts before i could get answers to my questions. Maybe we should just explain the search better when you sign up.

i agree with the guy who made the thread , too many newbs asking dumb questions it clogs up the board and pisses people off resulting in bans

I get tired of seeing the old " I wanna be at this much HP how can I get there" and the good old multiple turbo threads..Ive noticed alot of repeat threads also...I dont know about the 100 post minimum though because it would suck for them if they had a legitimate question or problem or something to ask...its a good idea though something needs to be done about repeat posting esp by ppl who have 1 or 2 post counts lol

I am sure you made a hundred post before starting a thread .
That would ruin this site for new members who come on to the site looking for answers, besides you dont have to open the thread.
I still have trouble searching up stuff .

yeah but sometimes i post **** that is random, like videos, ****, stuff that you cant really search for, plus there isnt really a way to track that. A better suggestion might be for those of us that have been around a while is search and post a link to a related thread, or politely remind them to use the search and quit going ape **** on noobs b/c they are "noobs", be helpful and not ********....

no, i didn't make 100 posts before starting my first thread... however i was a member of other forums (X-Box and others), therefore knew how to search. plus, i didn't even really start posting for about 6 months. I was a member, but I only read posts by other people for a while.
