I'm sure there's a good reason for the 30 seconds between searches, but I'm trying to figure out what that is. I tend to roll through sites pretty quickly, and that 30-second thing is making it really painful.

Is there any possibility of reducing this to 15 seconds or less?

 

yea. wait like 10 sec before every click

 

IN YOUR DREAMS. the times you need this site most for a how to or something. you will get DATABASE ERROR!!!!

 

so spammers cant search a ton and post? idk i find it annoying too but I have enough tabs, like 50 to do something in the mean time.

 

The forum would never come back up with the hardware/bandwidth it has if the search time was lower..

 

It is a security measure. If someone wants to attack the server, they can easily write a script that spams the search function to overload the SQL database.
