Can we get rid of auto merge, I dont like it and neither do alot of other people. If not cna it just be disabled in the ***** threads.

 

already asked this... they won't get rid of it because it prevents someone from postng 300 times in a row... a new member can put viruses and kiddie **** in the first thread they ever post, but god forbid someone in the ***** thread posts more than once in a row... that would really **** up the site... automerge ftl

Technically they could still put anything they want into their first post, and if they get passed the first then it will automerge it all together....

 

I could be wrong but it seems that only the post ****** have a problem with automerge. I for one like the fact that it is here. Believe it or not, it saves space and resources on the serve because less has to load when opening a page (e.g. signatures, icons, avtars, usernames, etc, etc.) Or perhaps you guys can't wait for the site to go slow and screwy again.

Automerge has worked exactly as it was intended. If you are making a double post, everything you say is being displayed. You should have no problems UNLESS you are specifically trying to just add to your post count. Thank you.
