Ban Election/Politics Talk?
#176

i guess i really don't care all that much either way, but it would be nice to go somewhere where there was no politics at all. However, don't think I am apathetic about politics. There is a time and a place for everything, and IMHO Cobalts+Politics=Bad

I really don't have a problem with banning discussions on war, abortion, stuff on the news. People complain so much about the "immaturity" of this site members and I really don't think that allowing such discussions helps the forums maturity level and in fact usually does the opposite, we have more issues here with O.T./Lounge/Political threads getting out of hand then anything else around so maybe it's time we trim away some of the problem areas and guide the forum back to a more professional/knowledge driven community that it once was.
MAKE A SUBFORUM and close threads relating to politics and what not that are posted in the wrong section.
This forum is already looked down upon on many other sites and its stupid **** like this that gives it the reputation. I cant wait to see what happens if css.net bans political talk and leaves something like a street racing section around. Ill be the first person to start a thread labeled "Obama vs. McCain" if that rule is passed, take my banning, and pass the word along that css.net has quite possibly the most idiotic rule of all time.

these stupid arguments are the reason i come on this site...don't do it. If you do this you need to delete half of the war stories section because there is more lying bull **** in there than anywhere else. "i took down a kb lightning in a stock ss/tc."
how is it that only two people debated that? Come on guys. When there is some political bs 30 people bust in. it taks an0molous less than half a second to get there, but when a high 13 second stock cobalt beats a mid 11 second car its, "good kills."
my supercharged mustang beat a bugatti veyron in a top speed run.
it's not politics that are the problem here, its extreme fanboyism. not just for cars.

haha i knew i set myself up
to me there is a difference between "Grimy people rant" and "Obama Vs McCain"
the first one is more applicable to this forum and its members. The second is, well, crap. heck we don't even really decide who becomes president

How is Grimy people rant applicable to CSS.net more than Obama and Mccain?
