Bring chat back?

i think the idea of making it for 'premies' is a good idea;
i think the idea of being more strict that normal in the chat is also a good idea... imho, if any mods/admin saw that (underage girl schtick) and did nothing - it prove major failure on the part of mods/admin - the loosers should have been immediately banned - and if they were a repeat offender, do a perma-ban, including an IP ban.
I will agree with many of the posts her that the CSS.net crowd can be immature - but from what I've observed since I became more active here - it seems to be getting better.

I think it would be a good idea to bring it back. Only thing about it though is that what happened before stands a good chance of happening again...I know it sounds like a broken record, but it's true. Unless there is one uber mod who's purpose in life is to monitor the chat or a rotation of mods to watch it, something is bound to happen. I do like the idea of it being IRC or another form of chat room though or maybe something of a shoutbox would be nice. either way though, let's see what happens.
For infractions though, I saw 1 week ban to start with and progress from there with punishments / bans. after a certain amount, I say perma ban them.

I think MOST people would be OK, but it only takes a few to ruin a good thing. If they've got the resources now to handle any issues that could arise, it should be fine.

i like premium/plat member idea too. maybe free premium for lvl 100 experience members? lol i need in

bring it back, would ease up the load of a bunch of random forums being posted on the regular thing as all the random bs talk would be kept to a live environment.
but definitely needs to be moderated and for any seriously offensive stuff then punishments will ensue. we have way more mod's now (better mods) then we did before. also the forums in themselves from what i've noticed have been much more mature the last while as well.
