Has the administration considered running the vbulletin chat box? It's essentially a chatroom for everyone on the site to use at the same time. I've seen it on grandprixforums and it's a kinda nice feature. Idk what it takes to implement it but I just thought that it was pretty cool.

or for $10 per year you can get a chatbox and have unlimited message, we have one on our forum (quebec cobalt club)

 

lol what? There are tons of free unrestricted Chatboxes for vB...

Anyways, I think ChatBoxes are dumb for large forums like this, you can't save the history (for long) so anything technically important is lost in a few hours; so that leaves mindless garbage and I think there is enough of that already

 

I think a chat would be great to implement, just another feature to add to the site to get users close together, why would that be stupid? Yes you might not be able to cache all the logs but why would you wan to cahce 1,323,204,249 links of naked women?

But Reign, if we have a chat box, it takes all of the bullshit "mindless garbage" out of the forums. No more random, stupid threads. No more daily work chat threads. It could clean up the site quite a bit. I say "could" because it depends on if the incompetent users on here follow.
