css.net going downhill??
has anomalous quit us as well? i can say i blame him though.. i havent been on here nowhere near as long as a lot of you but the same questions gettin asked over and over gets really aggravating.. i've seen the same thing asked up to 3 times on the same page of threads and all they had to do is search or read what was bein posted in the other thread that was on the page..
well i dont know if some people actually listened to this thread or what .. but im surprised the last 4-5 days i havnt seen almost any GF threads or gay ****... Maybe this site is gettin back on track
I'm gonna step in and say I think this site is right on track. Look at any HUGE forum (large Evo forums, F-body forums, mustang ect.), there are THOUSANDS of members. Its impossible for everyone to be "educated". Thats why its split into different sub-forums. Any huge forum has the same set up, serious stuff, general car stuff, and just whatever. However, it does get frustrating when some complete noob posts in a thread about building a motor or something, acting like he knows what he's talking about, once again, its unavoidable. I must say, I browse quite a few forums, and this one is fairing quite well, for how many members it has. Some of the honda forums, and DSM forums are just a complete wreck. Besides, I like css.net, it was the first site I joined after I bought my car, I have an emotional connection
I'll stick with css.net til the end!
CSS.NET FTW

The point of the Dungeon is exactly that
But there are other perks to Premium; like avatars, 500pms, custom titles, etc.

yea that 2 im kinda having trouble making the little square with the pic of my car and othe graphics combined any help? is there like a how to for that lol
as i see it, no matter what car based site (esp a site that is directed to the modifaction of a car) your going to have people who are going to street race, illegal or not. and they want to tell someone about there accomplishment.
So, and not to diss everyones belief, you will have street racing no matter what you do on the internet. Im not saying im for or against it, yeah i like to get on it here and there but i try to do it in a safe enviroment. You are going to see it wherever you go. Racing has been mans adrenaline rush since the wheel has been invented.

I just wish there was more access to road racing (circuits) as that's more of the purpose of the ss/sc (vs the strip). As far as I know it doesn't realy happen. Form what I have looked into SCCA, there can be so damn many requirements for car setup, taking classes and such that dissappoint me enough not to persue it. if I could hit a course like I could "test-n-tune" I would probably get it out of my system and do less dumb stuff on the road.

You're in Cinci? How far are you willing to drive? There's mid-Ohio which is quite expensive but still does instructional days. There's also Nelson Ledges near Mansfield, OH that does open track days. And of course BeaveRun in Pittsburgh.
You're going to have to go out with an instructor, which is what you should be doing at first anyway to learn how to handle the car.
Yet I haven't seen your ass at BR yet
everyone done yet? good. now listen. there's only one thing that can make this forum better, and that is you. if someone posts something that is just down right immature or whatever, just don't join the crowd and let the mods and admin do their job. second, contribute when you can for the better of the site. simple enough? i hope so.
