I registered but I can’t post….HELP!

To protect us from spam we requite valid email addresses.
We have configured the site to send you the final part of the registration process by email, to ensure that the email address you provide is valid and working.

You must click on that link in your email to activate your account!
If you can’t find it in your inbox, check your BULK/SPAM folders.

Need the email resent? Just click here

If you have any problems, feel free to contact us

Most people having problems are using AOL accounts. You may want to sign up for a free yahoo or gmail email account.

You can change your email here:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/prof...o=editpassword

If you are still having problems, contact your email provider and make sure you can receive all email form the cobaltss.net domain.

UPDATE: (8/28/2008)
We are having problems replying to email and many of our members are having problems receiving activation emails, password resets and notifications. It has come to my attention that a number of email providers block us as spam because of the high volume of notification emails (members have the option to have this on or off)
Here is what you can do:

Add Cobaltss.net to your address book or email safe list. Most email providers or spam-filtering software programs give you the option to add companies to an email safe list or address book. Check with your email provider to see what steps you can take to make sure you receive messages originating from Cobaltss.net in the future.

Check your spam or bulk email folder.
Email from Cobaltss.net may have accidentally arrived in your spam or bulk email folder instead of your inbox, depending on the settings of your email program (Outlook, Eudora, etc.) or email provider (AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.).

UPDATE: (10/25/2008)
Because of a recent human assisted spam attack on forums, we moderate all new user registrations until further notice. To speed up your account approval, please contact us with your username and car information (make, model, year, modifications if any)

I couldn't find the link in my inbox anywhere. I fear it may have been automatically deleted because I waited so long to find it. Any chance I can have it sent to me again?

I've tried posting here and pm'ing jonyyb about it with no luck.

Yes it's just for new members who didn't get the link in email. We can post in existing threads, but can't create new ones.

Sadly, they are pretty smart and use real email, activate the account from the email, and then spam

Your account is activated so you wont get one!

Non activated account members can post in an existing thread, but you cannot start a new thread.
