Exclamation I want to help the site.

Do you remember me? I used to be a top poster here, and I knew a great deal about the original Cobalts at release. Obviously, I'm no longer an active member of this community. I was one of the earliest to leave due to site leadership problems. I've joined the Camaro5 community, and I represent some of the quality leadership there.

One of the most substantial problems here is a lack of freedom to express opinions. While the site here is far less mature than the membership of a classic car enthusiast site, like Camaro5, members deserve to post their controversial opinions. Moderators should monitor, not delete, these threads.

The problem isn't bad posters. There are bad posters everywhere. The problem is moderation. You need more moderators at CSS. The site is a mess and needs to be thoroughly purged of bad posts, trolling, and otherwise unacceptable site behavior.

I would like to be one of the moderators that bring this site back to its glory. I can also be one of the users that leaves this site in disappointment—disappointment that the leadership refused to fix a clear problem, disappointment that the site was so great and fell so far, disappointment that I was turned down when I came back in efforts to improve the CSSnet community.

JonyyB, you designed a great forum for communication and discussion of the Delta platform. It is, however, very apparent that your site is inundated with users that post questionably. It takes far too long for moderators to address these threads, leading to discontent on the site. We need to curb this problem with moderation. I am familiar with the site rules and am an active leading member of another major site.

Once again, I'd love to see this site return to its glory days. I'd love to be given the authority to help make that happen because I used to feel like I belonged to this community. Now, I feel like I have a responsibility to improve this community with appropriate moderation.

I look forward to your approval.

Sounds good to me. A few new mods, older more experienced members, that would really keep the bullshit to a minimum, delete posts where necessary and so on, could help shape this place up before all the good people leave.
