Two words are being filtered at this time. One is a racial slur that starts with 'N' and the other a four letter word that starts with 'C'. There are two reasons to filter words. One is to offer members a family and work friendly community. That is up to the community and the moderator's. The second one is a commercial reason as certain key words will be flagged by Corporate IT departments and Net Nannies thus limiting the site exposure. The two currently filtered fit the second reason. I hope that helps. Thanks.

I was gone for 6 months, and this happens..wow No wonder the site seemed faster than usual. I was one of the first people on here, since back in 05, maybe one of the few still active on here for that long. I'm glad to see this happen, and hoping the next 5 will be as good as the first.

Understood. That may have happened for a brief period of time as several words were added to the word filter after the site migration. The 'F' word was one of them. I removed all but the two I mentioned. There are probably member's who prefer NOT to wade through 'four letter words' when reading site discussions. However, that is a decision for the moderator team and community. Thanks.

I would just like to thank you for all the changes and time and effort put into the site since taking it over. Before there was no way I would. Think about becoming a premium member as it was clearly apparent that premium status funds were not put back into the site but itis clear thinks are for the better now and I think I will put in a few bucks for more as a thank you
