could we make an official exhaust section
we have all the others like suspension,audio,f/i,drivetrain,wheels and tires
i know theres a section like the exhaust video under the 2.4 but why not a general one...

good idea but i want to add on it a little. Im also a member on a VW (forums.vwvortex.com) forum and they have a small section in each motor type thread (ex. 2.0, 2.2, 2.4) and have all info of aftermarket parts and different stuff that has been done to that particular model.
BUT even so i guarantee that there is still going to be new threads created on "whats the 'best' exhaust for my car?" So its a valiant effort but it will only do so much. I think if mods would create a pop up page for new members as to use the search button and using the forum or even an initial PM message that new members would find it easier to maneuver around the forum.

meh, I think we have enough sections as it is and exhaust is motor related so I don't see why it needs its own section.
This would be kind of like adding a springs section ontop of the suspension section.
Exhaust setups/tones are someone motor specific and they do fit well into the Engine Tech discussions, IMO

Haz l33t wheelz.
I understand where you're coming from, but I have to agree with glen229 on this. Yes, exhaust is is kinda motor specific, but it is a broaded topic. There are other things to consider. It is also alot bigger than springs! If you go to buy parts on a website exhaust has its own section. Springs are a suspension component, where as exhaust is a seperate issue.

^^thats true but better than the over load of new threads started on retarded questions. on the vw forum im on it has a section like that in every motor section so that people can read previous thread related to those topics and the forum runs sooo much smoother. i mena if you see a thread pop up over there its about something good! you guys should check it out if you want to see what im talking about. i realy like the organization that it has. forums.vwvortex.com

I agree with creating an Exhaust section. Motor section is filled up with a lot of ****. The exhaust section would cover specifically headers, dp, cat-backs, etc. Would look more organized. I say ai!
