Quiz before posting

So since every other new member posts a classified in violation of the rules and new members posts questions like can I supercharge my 2.2? Why not make a required quiz for new members before posting? That way they have to read the rules before posting.

I think the real question is, what kind of lowering springs and exhaust should I get?

but i've said this before and i'll say it again...

in my eyes anyway, the point of a forum is to help people who are new.

if it was full of all experts in here well there would be nothing to talk about

and if we can help at least one person to refrain from doing something bad to his cobalt,
like putting on an aluminum wing or some horrible ricey exhaust, then i got news for ya:

we just helped keep the platform from being embarrassed about itself.

also it helps keep these cars on the road, which is a good thing.

there is no rule when buying any car that you should know everything about cars, and sure,
you would imagine someone who wants to buy an ss would be enough of an enthusiast to know
the difference between a turbo and a supercharger, but it's just not always the case.

Maybe we could just have them post pictures of their car and current members vote to deem them worthy of posting or not... on second thought that would eliminate a few current memebers too so that they can't make threads like this...

I'm all for helping. In fact, I usually help more newbs than others because I feel bad for them sometimes.

I only ask that you prove you did some sort of research, and I will be more than happy to help anyone.

I will not help someone who wants to be spoon fed. That just shows you are lazy, and I can't stand that.

Ok I understand everyone hates noobs and the questions asked by new members, but seriously how are we suppose to learn about things if we dont ask? Isnt that the point of joining a forum? I have a lot of questions I would like to ask (especially when it comes to tuning) but I havent because I dont like getting told to use search. Sometimes "search" just doesnt answer the questions we are asking. Imo I think there should be a noob question section or something along those lines.
