So this ad happened on here today.

I was in my thread in war stories. I was scrolling down the page. I'm not sure if I accidentally touched an ad or it just decided to pop up but either way it's bs.

This is one of those ads that try to fool unsuspecting people and will not let you go back and keeps hammering you with a pop up when you try to leave the page. I regret removing adaway because of garbage like this

I have mentioned to remove the silly adds from our homepage and site...

The answer I got was... not much they can do about them, lol.

Well if we are going to have ransomware ads on this site and "they can't do anything about it" I'll happily throw adaway back on my phone. Being my phone is my internet connection for home too that will take care of every ad everywhere. They don't want revenue that is fine by me.

Hi everyone!

IB uses partners who place ads on IB's network. That type of spam pops up ever once in while (not frequently) generally due to a hack of the company selling the product or services or a virus from elsewhere. Google is pretty quick to remove them from their ad servers if it is theirs. I'm assuming this popped up on your Android? The popup many not have anything to do with IB's ad partner servers but a browser hack or virus from elsewhere. In any case I have asked IB to take a look. Thank you for letting us know.

Bob

I've had good luck with this until yesterday. Yesterday and today I got a pop-up similar to this on my phone. It pretty much hijacks the open tab and causes the phone to vibrate nonstop. Only way to kill it is kill the tab.

Using my I phone on this site will only allow me to scroll about 10 posts and then it just freezes. Only on this site. I can exit using the phone but it's like the site stops communicating.

Hi,

What phone, OS and browser please? Also have you tried the default mobile template which should load from your browser? Thanks!

Ok thank you. I passed the info to Internet Brands today, they have not seen this one before on Android. Do you have a Malware app on your Android phone you can use to scan your phone?

My phone is brand new. Did it with my old phone and the new one. Can't be 100 percent but I'm pretty sure it's not a phone problem being it's brand new
