I think creating specific section for certain parts is a bad idea, there really isn't that much varied discussion on a TVS to need more than a handful of threads about it. A sticky with links would be a much more suitable option IMO.

Those are all topics with TVS in the title in all forums except the classifieds and vendor sections.
Not a bad way to gauge the necessity of a TVS forum. Perhaps the mods can at least run that search from time to time and decide based off of that.
Anyway, I think the main problem is that most people for whatever reason can't seem to find the TVS FAQ.
