Well since spam seems to be a problem here... why dont we jsut have something when you sign up you must enter the numbers and letters that are like in some weird design. I know *************** has this and they have no spam at all.

 

That sounds like a plan. Maybe some mods and admins will pick up on this.

Every day the first thing I do when I log on is to check the new members list to see who has signed up. I ban about 5 new spam accounts per day. I have also asked Jonel about including the scrambled image idea and he is aware of it. Until then, just keep reporting the threads when you find them and we will always delete them.

 

Yah it just takes time to get some of things security features done when you work every day like Jonel does

 

good idea but it has to be set up good, because It took me like 20 tries to resgister on rl forums because the scrambled letters were unreadable lol

why can we not just have the minimum post count before you can start a new thread?

 

I support raising the minumum post count to start a thread to 2 posts

99% of the bots here, sign up, make a thread and never come back, I dont think they are advanced enough to make a post before they can create a thread

 

id say that and the other idea of no post creation until your PC is over 50.
