So just wondering if its just me but does the sites chat work for anyone else? And if it doesn't work for anyone, bump to get this fixed. I would love to have a chat room on the site.

Up at the top of the site it says there is on Chrome and IE but every time I click it on either browser it opens a new tab on the homepage

 

 

Yea, I see it, mine doesn't work either.

 

Be nice if we could get this going, It kinda sucks having to have chat threads

That hasn't work since I joined the site.

 

I like them to an extent but I like real time chat too

It's has to be disabled in vbulletin

 

I just wanna know if there's anything we can do to get it up and running. If the Admins need any help with it, I have some experience with vbulletin and some other forum formats, plus I'm pretty decent at building websites

Thank you for the questions! We have never turned on real time Chat because it is impossible to moderate. There is the concern it would quickly become a full time job for moderators to review and again, there is no way to remove unacceptable content in real time. Off topic usually keeps most members busy who like to discuss everything except cars.

wasnt it active at one point? i remember talking **** to someone way back in the day on it. i agree with the remove the link for it but **** it i forgot about the chat long ago
