clear coat peeling

my clear coat is peeling on the front drivers fender where the side skirt comes to the finder. i was wondering if this is common or if it would be covered under warranty but i have 50k on my car.

is the car still under warrenty? if it is i would assume so considering thats a flaw with the paint IF its the original paint and that fender hasent been re painted.

yup its the factory paint and no the cars never had paint work or body damage to it and i take it to a detail shop twice a year and i dont drive it in the winter.

well if the cars under warrenty then take it to the dealer and tell them wtf? the paints covered as long as it wasent damaged by a bad detailer, accident and so forth.

yup its going to the dealer tomorrow to be looked at. watch there going to say its from the road crap hitting the fender because i have wider tires on my car.

It won't be under warranty. The finish damage warranty is 12mo/12,000 miles.

well its worth a shot to see what happens......i just would never let a dealership paint my car. i've yet to find a dealer around here that does legit body work.

i talked to the dealer today. they are going to cover having the drivers side fender repainted. the dealer does not have a body shop so the car will be going to another place that does body work

lol yeah there not fixing it. there sending it to body shop that insurance company's deal with. my friends moms van is getting fixed there to right now lol
