Engine cleaning

What is everyones opinion on the best way to clean up the engine bay.
I have been told multilple times that diluted simple green and a power washer works wonders.

Yup. Just make sure to do it at a car wash or somewhere that the oily runoff won't contaminate anything.

Silicone Tire spray (the wet tire stuff in aerosol cans) is a great way to detail too, just spray and let it sit, makes the engine shine real nice.

cover the intake, and try to use like compressor and hook it up with a air nozzle and purge out all the water if you can.

my method
1 go to car wash and use tire/engine spray
2 let sit while washing rest of car
3 rinse off when finished
4 dry
5 use armorall tire foam and let dry on its own
6 enjoy the pretty view
