OKay....so heres the catch...i got some outdoor garage paint on the front bumper of my car from hitting the side panel of the garage going 2 mph. The aftermath left paint on my bumper goung down....so I was wondering what are some options to get the paint off. As I can't just get a wet towel n rub it off, or scratch it off wit my finger. Please help. Ive heard that mineral spirits, buffing it out, and clay bar would work. True?

 

bar then buff. No on the paint thinner though

 

CLay bar gonna be able to remove paint though?

 

mineral spirits will work just make sure you buff and put a good coat of wax on...mineral spirits and paint thinner are 2 different things...I detailed cars for 7 years it will work but i would mix it 50/50 with water just to be on the safe side and go stronger if need be

 

Try some of this first.

 

I got some paint transfer from my garage on my mirror, used rubbing alcohol, worked perfectly.

 

Magic eraser, immediatly wash it off, then wax the spot. I have been using it for years now.

 

nail polish remover, rewax when your done.

 

my dad did some thing like this, but it was a wood utility trailer, he used tooth paste and a tooth brush.... worked great, that was 8 years ago and the paint still looks great.

 

id try the ultimate compound buff and wax

 

3M Rubbing compound, works every time.

 

clay bar works good for this and is not as hard on paint as some other stuff try that first

 

3m adhesive remover will take it right off, safe on paint.
