Last run at PIR for a while

This coming friday 7/22 is going to be one of my last runs at PIR (portland international raceway) for a while due to me needing to save some money and my license being suspended for 30days.

Anyone going? So far its just me, my old friend with his 2nd gen camaro (maybe his crossfire too), and maybe my co-worker with one of his hatch civics. Weather conditions for friday are looking to be a high of 75 with clouds so should be a green light with the late night drags.

The sort of stuff that shan't be posted here.

Back on topic: Yeah, I can make it out. I've been itching to get out of the house for a while. Car needs a good wash & wax too, so I guess I can use this as an excuse to clean it up

I'm not ashamed. I know what I did lol
They suspended my license for 30 days cause I got 'four or more driver improvement violations in a 24-month period'...i've actualy gotten quite a bit more than that. I used to do a lot of street racing with cars that weren't very fast
89 Cadillac STS Seville 4.5L V8 FWD
84 Camaro Base Sport 2.8L V6 RWD
08 Cobalt Sport 2.4L
I got two back to back in my new SS/TC. One in a construction zone when I brake checked a motorcycle that was riding my ass at night (it was a cop )...the other came from back when I was going through issues with my TWM Shifter, I was making sure it held to my thromping through the gears

I've actually learned a lesson from this...if you're doing triple digits (unless he's on a bike)...KEEP GOING!

jk

low and slow is my new thing. Speed limit most of the time. The faster and faster you go, the more the ticket goes up. MPH = $$$

Sweet
I just emptied everything out of my trunk and put the footballs in. I'm gonna see if I can hit up the air gun at work tomorrow after my shift so I can put some legit air in the footballs this time...not just what a hand pump does.

If I remember correctly if it is your fist time racing at PIR you have to pay an additional fee for a track membership, does anyone know how much this is, on top of the $27 it costs to race for the night?

Had a good time the other night. Got lots of good video n' schtuff, including the ricer that blew his engine, and that one insanely quick car that nearly wiped out (twice!).

Cody, you'll have to PM me a link to your FB page, I have a bunch of media to send you as well.
