real suggestion: have room to put vendors names on the shirt. could pull more sponsors?!?! just a thought.

We're planning on putting sponsor names on the shirt. I think the idea was logo on the front, sponsors on the back.

the plan is, if we land a major sponsor. on the logo i will change it and instead of centexcc.com presents; it will be the sponsors name presents. so stay tuned for a new logo

i agree!!!

on the back towards the top start with:

Centex Car Club Presents
The 2009 GM Lone Star Bash.
Thanks to the following sponsors for their support:

then have the different logos/names/other car clubs of ones supporting the event all over the rest of the back.

well he can do more than just 2.2's he can do the cobalt,hhr,solstice,sky,etc...but thats for future news
then have the different logos/names/other car clubs of ones supporting the event all over the rest of the back.
this all depends on final turnout..if clubs come from out of state we will of course have to add those as well..so the FINAL shirt will be closer to the bash..just need imput on how many would want one with the logo

i guess i can go ahead and let this out of the bag since everything is going so well..
the 2009 lone star bash will be held at TEXAS MOTORPLEX in Ennis Texas !
for those that arnt familiar its about 30 minutes south of Dallas..so those that live in the DFW area should have no excuse not to attend.
this track is HUGE. It is a full 1/4 mile track with over 30 acres of parking area total..much more than we will actually need.
i cant acutally release the date at this moment but look forward to a more MID spring date instead of the previous FEB. date that was posted before. this truly is good news since this is probably the best track in texas and a much better location for people that want to come from surrounding areas...remember..this is supposed to be a " state meet " type event , meaning this is your once a year chance to meet and race members from all over the state ! and as big as texas is thats alot of people !
people like, Marty Lagwig,GM tuner tour, and Trifecta tuning have expressed interest in coming to this event..i am also working on magazine coverage for this event but of course the bigger the turn out the more theyll want to come.
so be prepared and save some pennys cus i expect ALL OF YOU to come out!

and for those that arnt familiar with the track here are some pics..

and ofcourse all info can be found at www.texasmotorplex.com
see you guys soon!
