Universal Technical Institute is proud to announce it will be hosting its third car show and dyno day. Registration is open to the public, and the dyno is open to car show entrants (which means you have to show if you want to dyno). It's only $10 to enter, and it's FREE FREE FREE to spectate. Here's the info:

Car Show:

-Gate opens at 8:30am

-Check in @ 9am-Noon

-Judging starts 10am, and ends at 2pm

-Awards at 3pm

-Music and Food will be provided, so bring money!

-1st 100 Entries get a FREE commemorative Dash Plaque

***Door Prize Raffle for contestants*** ($500 Tool box from Blue Point, and 50/50 cash prize)

11 Categories (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place):
-Antique through 1969
-Classic 1970 through 1989
-Modern 1990 to present
-Best Import -- all years
-Best Pro Street/Race
-Best Dressed Bike
-Best Sport Bike
-Best Overall Show and Shine -- 1 winner (judges pick - automatic free entry for all)
-High School Catagories (3 -- not sure what this one is)
-Best Domestic, Import, & Bike
-Special catagory for UTI Students

Dyno:

- FOR CAR SHOW ENTRANTS ONLY!!!!!!!!!

-ALL VEHICLES MUST UNDERGO A BASIC SAFETY INSPECTION BEFORE ALLOWED TO DYNO.

-No Slicks allowed

-All participants must sign a liability waiver and show documentation of vehicle ownership

-FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!! TIME ALLOTTED FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 VEHICLES!!!

-All minors under 18 years of age must have valid driver's license and be accompanied by Legal Guardian in order to DYNO

Pre-Meets:

South-side:

-Home Depot off of 45-South and Woodridge
-7am sharp (depart no later than 730am...approximately 45 minute drive)

Northside/Kingwood:

-Hooters off of 45-North and 1960
-8am sharp (depart whenever the south-side crew arrives and leave together)

Etiquette Guidelines: (Suggested, of course, to make a stronger show impact)

* Dress like a team. If you have a team shirt, wear it. It will help show the general public that we are a serious team and we're here to make a positive impression.
* Be a team member. Even if you're not showing, help your team members prep for the show. For example, help them detail different areas of their car, or bring extra supplies that you think would be important. The quicker they get done, the quicker everyone can enjoy the event!
* Be friendly. Talk to other teams about their cars, or about their own team! This isn't war, and we're all here for the same reason: we love cars!
* Be lawnchairs, sun cream, and umbrellas/tents. This event is outdoors in a parking lot, so it's BYOS (Bring your own stuff)
* I'm not one to censor anyone, but this is a family event. So please, be mindful about language.
