Anyone here around Central Texas? Waco/Temple/Killeen? Just wondering. I see a bunch around.

 

 

Ft. Hood/Killeen, on Saturdays they be some people that meet up at the wash on Rancier and then decide to go to Austin or Waco(or who knows where else) and check out the "competition" and sometimes race. Fridays are reserved to go to the 1/4 mi track at Temple.

 

so you go out to the track? Man I haven't been in years. I want to do some more to my cobalt before I head out there but last time I was out there everyone was running 11's on average. I ain't tryint to take a mid-15 second car out that against that. Whats it like now?

It's been like a year maybe since I been to the track, one of the last times I went I competed in a Import Shootout or some comp on Fri night in a 97 Corolla 1.6 auto runnin 18s all night. It was all bout who can run consistent times. I made through three rounds before I made a stupid move of changing my time, and blew my chances.

 

yea! right in austin, last time I was to the track was last year too.
