a 350z w/ NOS... hmmm i wonder who will win. i will be working until 9:30pm. what time does it go till? my tires are kinda bald, but hell ill run a couple times i guess, if i get out there in time. i have been trying to get people out there.
but about your comment. the thing is, a stock 350z is a driver race with an SS. its no non sense, its fact. there are even some taking out GTO's and Mustangs as well, myself included(once modded of course). i would love to see some real competition from 350z's. they real have potential to be beasts.
i dont mean to sound rude at all, but anyone can push a magic button and win a race. i like to see what cars can do without the juice. although juice is kinda fun...

 

Yea same here, I can understand using nitrous if you have no other choice b/c you have options to make power or you have already done everything, but taking a stock car(if yours is stock besides nitrous??), IMO that is just ghey

 

Depending on how big of shot of NOS your runing I would race you, but I live in Las Vegas. I grew up in Lewisville though, and will be taking my car for a road trip next may to see my friends and family. I will meet you anywhere and run you even at Ennis if you want. You name the place and I will give you a run, your not the only one that can run NOS.

 

Fellas, it's all in good fun! win, lose, who really cares right? i race against time to see what my car can do, and what i can do with it for the most part. i dotn have a big ego (really i dont) and am one of the coolest guys you'd ever meet. older, but cool nonetheless.
13.9 @102 stock. other than the juice i have done no performance enhancements. on a 75 shot i sucked and got 13.6 @ 108.
hopefully they'll be giving out tons of Full Throttle drinks. cant get enuff of those.

last couple of times i was there (last year) they were giving away Full Throttle sport drink in the crowd. Shitttt, i went home with 6 or 7 last time.

anyway, i should have put in one disclaimer. WEATHER PERMITTING.

trying not to debate about who's car is quicker blah blah. the 350z in the hands of a professional has been proven to be quicker. in fact, i dont think anyone can show proof where a SS/SC had a better 1/4 time than the 350z coupe. but, different day, different conditions and so many variables makes the debate almost pointless really.
a drivers race? between 2 amateur drivers, probably. if i screw up, you might beat me, if i dont, there is nothing you can do about it.
I go to the track to get the best possible eta i can. i dont care who is lined up and honestly i have never asked to line up with anyone else. its me against time.
i had an s2000 beat me down the track (by inches) but i went into the 13's and he stayed above 14. he had a quicker reaction than i did. however his car was slightly slower. so who wins, who loses? makes no difference to me.
ok, i'm babblin on now. gotta go.

Hope to meet a few of you there. oh, and my woman cant go. the girls are getting together...or maybe her and her secret boyfriend. who knows!

It would be a good run at the track, wish I was able to be out there for it. Just got back frome dallas a couple of weeks ago, did'nt have my car though I flew. I would be willing to run you with the NOS and the way my car is today. I have no clue what my car runs in the 1/4 mile yet, only have 1300 miles on it. My last one would run mid 14's stock non-G85. The new one is way faster and has a few more thing done to it. Honestlly I think with NOS on mine you wouldnt have a chance. There is a guy on here running high 12's on NOS and I am pretty sure he has stock internals. Check out the The OFFICIAL Cobalt 1/4 Mile List. These cobalts are running pretty fast times for 4-bangers All in fun man, no hard feelings.
