New to the cobalt scene in el paso, been stationed here for 2years home from deployment have a 4dr 2009 yellow cobalt. lookin for other owners and tuning shops in the area!!!

 

What part of town do u live on?

 

just got bac so im at the hotel til i find a place im on gatewat east by yarborough

think im the only yellow 4dr SS in el paso i usually only see coupes around here!!!

no got it from dicc poe / my boy traded it in for a dodge nitro and i went the next day and piccd it up

i kno definitely but i got it and happy with it came from a shop down yarborough and impressed so i will be using them soon

gonna hav a wideband put in and mayb a hp tune later with a boost controller

 

The car comes with a wideband already and I dont think you really need a boost controller till you go bigger turbo. I dont know of many if theres any people are using them on stock turbo.

 

where is the wideband i kno the manual says sumtin bout RPD but i hav no idea where that knob is.....so was lookin AEM wideband and having it mounted with another guage in my center vents. boost controller you right should wait i will prolly try n get new headlights with that money then. i seen these halo rings i like.

 

Instead of doing that save your money and get an aeroforce interceptor gauge. It will tell you everything you want to know and more. Its also plug and play right into the obd II port so its easy to install. The RPD is a optional piece that comes from the factory which is a screen on the pillar that also tells you everything. I bought my interceptor from modern performance with a single pod for a good price. You should check it out.

 

this car doesn't have the RPD will look into the interceptor gauge though, right now trying to tracc down a coil pack the number 3 cylinder is misfiring when i add my tune...i checcd the plugs n everything good so tryin not to spend 100 on a coil autozone bugging out!!

 

hey guys wut up how was the meet? im still pissed i couldnt make it. ss went into the shop and wasnt ready on time but at-least my purge valve wont give me problems for a long time. we re-wired all the electrical that connects to it on both ends, retro-fitted all rubber and plastic tubing, new relay, and new purge valve. i went from cielo vista to fabens and back and used about less than half a qrt, avg. 42mpg high way of course had a oil change and full tune up while i was at it lol

 

man wut is everyone doing tonight it nice as hell tonight i been making victims all night...wouldnt mind meeting other cobalt owners...might try n find this tracc tonight but traffic is crazy right now

how are yall gettn these mpg? im at 24 and i just had all fluids changed...
