Looking into app radio3. But was wondering what replacement speakers to go with.

 

are u keeping the stock amp? if so you will need to look into 2 ohm speakers. if you are doing an amp bypass off the HU or an aftermarket amp then you can get either the 2ohm or the more common 4 ohm

 

I plan to keep the stock amp....at the same time later on i want to replace the sub in the same spot with something with more output... but maintain its stock look.... do you recommed bypassing the stock amp or using the headunit amp

 

its easiest to keep the stock amp however that lowers your speaker choices significantly

 

So how do you feel about the image dynamics CTX series speakers?

 

do you have the pioneer system supernova? because those are 4 ohm speakers

 

I redid everything like 2 years ago. Just wanted some feedback on if I put quality stuff lol. I love telling people one of my speakers weighs more than all the speakers and radio from their car. Here's what I have:

Pioneer DEH3300? or something like that.

MB Quart Amp ONX4.125 500w(125 per channel) @ 4ohm or 1000W at 2ohm.

Image dynamics CTX I have 6x9 in the rear and 6.5 round in the front. Rated 100w but I've had them on 125w for a year.

I also have a spare soundstream rubicon 4.600 amp somewhere I would like to bridge to a pair of subs or maybe to each coil in a DVC sub.

 

ah ok. well i dont know too much about that specific model but ID is generally good stuff

Soooo is there a dyno anywhere within El Paso and (preferably) Las Cruces? One that isn't ghetto? I'd love to do a couple pulls with my current tune and one or two pulls with the stock tune for kicks.
