I just dont have the time to take care of it, which is sad because its a nice car. it doesnt deserve to be neglected. I love american muscle but it doesnt make sense to me to spend time and money on this car when it isnt my dream car. I want a 72 or 73 charger. Anyway, the problems with it... One day when i was driving it in the rain i hydro-planed into the back of a pick up. it didnt do any real damage i was going slow. it was just a little bump, but there is paint chipped on the front from it. the driver window is off track so the door needs to be taken apart to fix it. the paint by the window is chipped away from the glass rubbing it since its not aligned. the seals all need to be replaced around the wndow and T-tops. Its not water tight, believe me i learned that the first time i tried to take it through a car wash. Its been under a car tarp to keep water out. the dash and center console have cracks in them. they could be replaced. the speedometer is pretty far off, it needs to be adjusted or replaced. the biggest thing is the transmission. it needs a new one, big time. it still drives, but not as smooth as it should. you can feel the tranny hanging in there. thats the main big problems.. i would probably repaint it. the paint isnt that bad but im really picky with paint so i think it needs to get redone.

Also for everyone else in El Paso, i need recommendations for the best shop here now a days. I have a lot of parts above my level that i need installed. And please dont say Speed Factory, their work is by far sub-standard...
Still sound tempting, i would really baby the car too.

negative. ive seen their work. i refuse to go there... my ex-room mate has an evo mr he had a new clutch installed there. they fuked it up hardcore, he had tranny fluid leaking everywhere. it was some really shoddy work...

oh yeah, and they refused to fix it unless he paid more so he just took it to the dealer...

true but that doesnt mean they will take care of it.

i know a customer who had his gas tank drilled into and the shop in el paso that did it told him it was to expensive for them to cover it so he was **** out of luck. Not sure if he perused legal action

wow. that sucks

When i got my system installed at audio express they screwed up my wiring and my air conditioner didn't work. When i took it back they said it was a pinched wire or some crap like that. I knew it was a bullshit excuse but they fixed it is all i cared about.

if u provide proof to them showing them that there installers messed sumthing up they have no choice but to fix it only if u have proper proof like i had i showed them exactly where they messed up and they had no choice that and the old calling a lawyer thing always helps lol
