I will be there early to help greet people and hopefully keep things organized. Is someone bringing the Video camera?

I just live like less then 8 miles from Grapevine Mills so I know the area extremely well if people want to head somewhere afterwards.

When I was there last week, I just lead everybody down 2499 to 1171 and back. Nice open 2 and 3 line road with almost no intersections.

I'm bringing my still camera, but i have no video (well it does it, but it aint pretty)
So do we have all of the big three coming to these things?

I've got a mock up for the february flier. I just made up these dates, they can be changed, and the places can be updated of course. Someone tell me if I'm breaking some kind of law using logos (I dont think I am, because I am not selling this, but I might be wrong.)

Dude I've been busy past couple of days, but I love how this is all coming together! And yes I've got a video camera, but little editing skills, so LP will be in it. The Original 4 are in, and from reading all this we have what like 20-25? Just pass the word on, no show boating or doing stupid **** so we don't get kicked.

I don't think February 18 @ 12 would be a good idea. The Daytona 500 will be getting ready to start. Might want to move that one to Saturday unless I am the only Nascar fan here.

Thanks to the Cobalt guys for having us out. It was a great meet. Glad Hooters was able to accomidate all of us and we could all hang out without needing to prove something to each other. Ya'll have a good week.

HOLD UP BEFORE PLANNING THE NEXT ONE AND INVITING EVERYONE ON OTHER BOARDS!!!

when we(3 of us) were in the parking lot after hooters, at the mills, security came up to us. they were cool with us but said he needed to ask us to leave the parking lot but we could go across the street. then asked if we were with the group here earlier. we said yea and he said their supervisor doesnt want us meeting out there. so the size we had last night was a nice size but we will need to get permission to meet in parking lots esp as this may grow larger. when we had are j meets there we only had about 10ish. so its hard for a business to let cars meet up because you get the idiots that rev engines, boom stereos, burnout, etc. just like after hooters, need i say more! no buisness wants that and it just attracts the police and then they wont let you meet up any where if they find us. this is why its so hard to have a nice size meets cause one person will screw it up and thats where we are nowadays.

LEAVE THE DAMN SHOWBOATING MILES AWAY FROM A MEET! anyone whos anyone can do a damn burnout, so dont do it leaving a business when others are meeting up. cant anyone learn this, jez.

now we can say well its a business and while the mall is open they cant do anything to us during business hours. that may be true but it wont set good and no telling if they will have the police ask us to leave. we may need to see about getting a businesses permission. so we can thank the showboaters over the years who do their thing at/around meets for the diffuculity of finding a good meet spot.

The only people causing problems after we left hooters were some of the Fords. And at that they were just revving up there motors. But I do see your point. We should get permission from the mall to do this since the turnout was a lot better than what I or anyone else was expecting.

Yeah I saw the Security guys coming up as we were leaving the mall. I do think they could ask us to leave while the mall is open, if we arent shopping, but I think that we might be able to talk to the mall, or some other location if they dont want to talk to us about setting up a "property owner blessed" meet. I definitely want to do this again, it was really a nice turnout.

I second that, it was a blast
