i installed some stuff 2nite so i cant wait, plus school is out on fri.

 

The weatherman predicted (yeah I know they can't predict jack) rain on Saturday. I know a Redline guy that said he has a 2.8 pulley that he'd like help installing, has some headers, has done the boost-bypass valve-bypass, exhaust, and has lowered but works on Saturday evenings so can't make it out too late. Would any other times for a meet be considered? He's really wanting to talk shop with as many people as he can about the LSJ. Let me know....I should be able to make it on Saturday baring anything catastrphoic....

I posted in the thread from the last meet that I live out by Alliance airport and there is a good stretch on 170 for some "higher speed" runs.

 

Hehe... I hope your talking about 170 and not 35 north to Denton... lol... theres some nice cops in black SUV's just waiting for people like us.

 

No, not I35. 170 man. I've lived here for 3 years and use 170 all the time and have seen maybe 4 cops on that road.

I learned that the top speed of my RL is 144 mph on that stretch.


If you guys wanted to get a few beers afterward, there's Up In Smoke in Keller close by (about 15 to 20 different beers on tap) and Buffalo Wild Wings is just a bit further down 377.

We have two kids also. Plus, my wife HATES fast driving. She gets scared when I accelerate quickly to 45mph.

So I wouldn't even be able to race or anything. What fun would that be?

I think I'll organize a meet in January by my house. I'll be going out of town for Xmas next week anyhow.
