Hp Tuner Meet
NTSR_SS on here has hptuners and is willing to help tune our cars if we want him too. he is going to find out the cost to rent out a dyno, but he is only charging $20 per car to use his software. he says he can tune all 05 and 06 cobalt SS/SC's and he is unsure about redlines(someone can fill us in on this). he also has the pro cable for the software. he is located in stephensville right now, so we have to find a dyno somewhere between dallas/ft. worth and there. any suggestions? who all is interested?

I just ordered the stage 1 today. With the 2.9 I'm running now I'll pretty much be done with the "performance side" minus a heat exchanger and exhaust maybe. After that it's all suspension and cosmetics.

Has anyone verified that 240 HP he's claiming is actually possible with just a K&N drop-in filter and an HP Tuner's tune? I'm not exactly sure that just those two items are enough for what amounts to a 45 HP increase myself. And then if he's talking WHP, that's an even larger jump for just a drop-in fliter and a tune.

i wouldnt mind but want to know for a FACT we have someone who knows what they are doing with the tune on scene. when we did the dyno day they had a ss/sc there that the person tried to tune/tweak the car and blew the engine something like that. so i want to make sure it would be someone who knows the car and how to tune the car and not just "play" tune the car, if that makes sense. i think anyone can buy the software so i want to just clarify weither its him or someone else that KNOW FOR A FACT to tune the car correctly.

well the guy that i want to take with me is a coworker of JapEatr on here. JapEatr is a longtime tech at Fire Stone and very well educated about our cars. he will go along as well. BUT, his coworker is a pro at tuning super charged cobras, so he has experience with superchargers and tuning software. im gonna get more info on this guy so that i know exactly what he can do because i am on the same boat as you here...
