this is too vague. like i know u gotta get power to the switch and to the pump, well all they say about the switch and how to hook it to the vacuum line but nothing about the power. the switch is a 10amp switch where the directions say 15 amps to the pump. so wtf kinda jap crap is this ****

Wrong::: You cant just drop pully sizes to lean out the mixture. Go big boom! Only reason you can drop to a 2.9 on stage 2 is because the tune is telling the ECU what AFR so the maf reads the incoming air and adds more fuel. once you go over 100% IDC the injectors go static = not good. Rule of thumb do not go over 90% IDC.

Ok so lets look at some things here... 111% IDC?? Think about it.. How do you go over 100% Something isnt right. I dissagree with that.

Adam is right, Aaron. It's very possible to over-work the 42's over 100% IDC.

So Dustin, who'd it go? Do I need to swing by tonight at 9 when I get off? I redneck rigged my kit on!! I told you to come over and let my lil bro who is a whiz at all that wiring crap take a look at it. He can wire it up to where it'll spray when you hit boost, press the horn, or turn on the blinkers!!!

that'd be funny to wire up something that sprays out at ppl whenever you honked the horn.

No im not trying to prove you wrong. That Post i made was not directed at you. I was just trying to enlighten you as to how if your AFR is rich you cant just throw a 2.8 on there to lean it out. At some point your injectors will go static.

Guess ill put a 2.7 on my stock injectors and run them at 200%

there has been many people who has put on a 2.8 runnin 42lb injectors anyways. way back almost last year and had no problems.

Basically, anything over 100% is static. At 100% the injectors can't put anymore fuel in, and anything over that is basically just a theoretical number, and more accurately reflects the amount of fuel you are missing. So at 111% idc, he would need 11% more fuel for the computer to get the a/f it wants.

the fuel pump was pushing the injectors past 100%

have you ever heard the term "either out of pump or out of injectors?"

i was out of injector.. hence the 111% idc.

i put on the 60#'ers and my idc's were like 64% under WOT.

also putting a 2.7 on 34# injectors will lead to like a 23.4 afr lol... which equals KAHBOOM!!
