Anyone got a ss front bumper or sum ss suspension or some 4 lug wheels they want to sell. Try to fix up my ls. Wish I could get ss/tc wheels but I've got the 4 lug I'm in Dfw. Looking for anything for a 2010 Balt

Just get some aftermarket springs. Ss springs won't do much.

The lsj suspension has a different damping rate and sooner or later u will pop a shock.... So I would upgrade to fe5... And any lowering spring that is made for a cobalt will fit

FYI, LSJ suspension is FE5, also... so it's not really a case of upgrading to FE5.

The 08+ FE5 shocks are set-up much better, as we all know. There aren't really too many options out there that are better all around than the 08+ FE5 shocks. If you aren't too serious into autocross or road racing, stick with them. Otherwise, I'd upgrade to Koni Yellows.

As far as springs, it just depends on what you want. I would strongly avoid ones that have really excessive drops like the Eibach Sportlines, as they will drastically reduce the life of your shocks... not to mention they severely sag over time and have horrid rates. The Eibach Pro-Kit isn't too bad, I enjoy my Pedders, but the best you can get are the PRS YYZ's. Great rates and a small drop without sacrificing ride quality - which is very, very rare with lowering springs.

Yep, all he wanted to know is if it would be worth it lol I say it is.... Either way all lsjs have pretty much worn suspensions lol

And I want yyz's but out of my budget lol

Well I just have a 2010 ls sedan. Is that the same suspension your talking about? I just don't want the lowering springs to mess up the rest

You dont really need to upgrade your stuts and shocks when you lower. Some people do and some dont.
